As an HR Consultant you will support a diverse portfolio of primarily SME clients, delivering a fully outsourced HR service across employee relations, people strategy, and HR projects. Working within our Insured Product Team, you’ll provide an Enhanced HR Retainer service alongside Employment Protection Cover, handling complex cases and building strong client relationships. This role offers varied, rewarding work in a fast-paced environment, ideal for a team-oriented professional with strong HR expertise, commercial awareness, and a passion for using technology to drive efficient, high-quality service delivery.
What We Offer
Salary: £40,000 basic plus commission (OTE £50,000 including commission)
Home-based with occasional travel to client sites as required.

What we’re looking for
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR professional who can deliver expert support across a wide range of client needs. You will have strong employee relations experience, confidently managing complex cases, including disciplinary, grievance, redundancy and TUPE processes, while ensuring full compliance with employment legislation and best practice. You will be comfortable leading change management projects, working closely with senior stakeholders to develop people strategies and deliver meaningful outcomes. Alongside this, you will support clients with training and development needs, contribute to the design and delivery of workshops, and provide guidance on recruitment campaigns to ensure high-quality candidate attraction. In this role, you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients, maintaining strong relationships and delivering a responsive, professional service in line with agreed SLAs. You will also be responsible for producing and maintaining key HR documentation, supporting absence management and Occupational Health referrals, and identifying opportunities to add further value through additional services. A commercially aware, client-focused approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively are essential.
About you
We are looking for a confident, client-focused HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will be a strong communicator with the ability to build trusted relationships, influence at all levels and provide pragmatic, commercially focused HR advice. With solid experience handling complex employee relations matters and a broad understanding of employment legislation, you will be able to balance risk with practical solutions. You will be highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities effectively, and comfortable using technology to deliver efficient, high-quality services. A proactive, team-oriented approach and a genuine passion for delivering excellent client outcomes are key to success in this role.
