We’re looking for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join our growing, forward-thinking team at ESP Solicitors Limited, part of the WorkNest group.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

The Role
You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, pragmatic employment law advice, acting as a trusted partner to HR professionals and business leaders.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing day-to-day employment law and employee relations advice, diagnosing issues and delivering clear, commercially focused solutions
Managing a varied caseload, including Employment Tribunal litigation from initial instruction through to resolution
Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, procedures, and tailored documentation aligned to client needs
Supporting clients with complex projects such as TUPE transfers and large-scale organisational change
Building strong client relationships through regular contact, including client “surgeries” and strategic discussions
Designing and delivering employment law training, workshops, and webinars
Contributing to business development through articles, social media engagement, and networking
Supporting innovation and continuous improvement across services and delivery methods
About You
We’re looking for a technically strong, commercially minded Employment Lawyer who is confident advising HR professionals and thrives in a remote environment.
You’ll bring:
Qualification as a Solicitor, Barrister or equivalent, with solid employment law experience
A strong background across both contentious and non-contentious matters, including Tribunal work
Proven experience supporting HR professionals within complex or large organisations
A pragmatic, commercially focused approach, with the ability to analyse issues and deliver practical solutions
Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to build credibility and lasting relationships with clients and colleagues
The ability to work independently, managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
An interest in delivering training, workshops or webinars
A collaborative, team-oriented approach, alongside a genuine interest in innovation and service development
